Yeh Laal Rang is an upcoming Indian 2016 Bollywood thriller film, directed by Syed Ahmed Afzal and produced by Raj Malik under the Krian Media banner. The principal photography of the film has got over and now is set to release on 19 February 2016.
Randeep Hooda, Akshay Oberoi and Piaa Bajpai are in the male and female lead roles.
Yeh Laal Rang will be perhaps Randeep's first movie that fully exploits his Haryanvi roots. He played a Haryanavi Gujjar in Imtiaz Ali's Highway but the movie concentrated on Alia Bhatt's story and did not explore his character much. Randeep Hooda will also be seen in Main Aur Charles, rumoured to be a biopic on the infamous bikini killer Charles Shobhraj. The actor is likely to have two releases this year, Do Lafzon Ki Kahaani and Main Aur Charles. The release date for Yeh Laal Rang is yet to be finalised
Seems like actor Randeep Hooda is ditching his urban, macho look for a more man-on-the-street look in his next film Yeh Laal Rang. Directed by Syed Ahmed Afzal, who earlier helmed Youngistan, Hooda tweeted pictures from the film's sets in Haryana's Karnal on Monday.
